Who is Kelly Kelekidou?

Kelly Kelekidou is a renowned Greek singer celebrated for her dynamic presence in the modern laïka and pop-folk music scenes. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, Kelekidou’s musical journey began with vocal training at the Contemporary Conservatoire of Thessaloniki and studies in Byzantine music.

In 2005, she released her debut album, Kelly Kelekidou, under Sony Music Greece, marking the beginning of her professional recording career. But it was her 2007 smash hit “Se Thelo Me Trela” that truly launched her into stardom. The song went gold within days, dominating charts and becoming a staple at clubs and bouzoukia across Greece.

Throughout her career, Kelekidou has released four studio albums and collaborated with notable Greek artists. She married fellow singer Nikos Kourkoulis on July 14, 2009, and the couple has two children.
